Flight-academy costs: how they work, and how to correct or remove a listing
The short version is on every academy page and in the site footer. This is the full version: what the numbers are, where each price comes from, and the simple path to fix or remove a listing.
What these numbers are
For each academy we list its own published program prices, the fixed sticker for each starting point (for example zero time, or starting with a private certificate). We do not model or invent these numbers, and we add no arithmetic of our own. Each price is taken from the academy's website and shown with the date we read it and a link to the source.
A fixed program price is not a personalized quote. An academy's sticker typically excludes several real costs (knowledge-test fees, examiner fees paid directly to the examiner, supplies, and location-specific premiums), and we note those exclusions on each program rather than fold them in. A student's actual total will differ with location, the excluded fees, and pace.
Where an academy does not publish a single fixed price, we say so ("On request") rather than guess.
Where each price comes from
Every program price links to the academy's own page and shows the date we read it. Accelerated-academy prices are volatile and change without much notice, so the date matters, and we re-verify on a schedule.
We list what the academy itself states the sticker excludes. The single most-missed academy cost is a location premium added on top of the base tuition at some campuses, so where an academy publishes one, we surface it next to the price.
An academy does not cut your airline hours
You will hear that an accelerated academy gets you to the airlines faster on fewer hours. It is faster to the certificates because it is full-time and immersive, but it does not reduce the 1,500-hour airline (ATP) minimum. The reduced Restricted-ATP minimums (1,000 or 1,250 hours) come only from a qualifying college aviation degree under 14 CFR 61.160, not from an academy. We never imply otherwise.

Corrections and removals
Accuracy is the whole point, so we make it easy to fix. Every academy's page has a "Correct or remove this listing" link that opens an email to us, pre-filled. Send a correction with a link to the academy's own page and we review it before it goes live.
If you represent an academy and would rather not be listed at all, use the "Request removal" option on the academy's page (it emails us) or write to us directly, and we will take the listing down promptly. No explanation required.
