Put your cost estimate on your own site

Every rated school has a PilotBound page that prices a certificate on the school's published rates. The same estimator can sit on your website. Pick your school, paste the snippet, and your visitors get the estimate where they already are.

The snippet

Paste into your page

WordPress, Squarespace, Webflow and hand-built sites. The box sizes itself as the reader changes the inputs, and the line under it is your link to your PilotBound page. Keep it or delete it; the estimator works either way.

<div class="pilotbound-estimate">
  <a href="https://pilotbound.app/flight-schools/maryland/1world-aero">1World Aero training cost estimate on PilotBound</a>
</div>
<script async src="https://pilotbound.app/embed/v1.js" data-school="maryland/1world-aero"></script>

If your builder wraps pasted code in its own frame

Wix and GoDaddy do. Use this plain frame instead, set the height to fit, and add a link to your PilotBound page anywhere on the page as text.

<iframe src="https://pilotbound.app/embed/school/maryland/1world-aero" title="1World Aero cost estimate" loading="lazy" style="display:block;width:100%;max-width:none;height:1300px;border:0"></iframe>

What your visitors see

The estimator card from your PilotBound page and nothing else: the goal, pace and airplane controls, the estimate, the comparison against the FAA minimums, the breakdown, and the date the rates were checked with a link to their source. It renders in PilotBound's own type and colors inside a box on your page, and your site's stylesheet cannot change or break it.

It carries no form, no sign-up and no cookies. A visitor who wants to reach you uses your page, which they are already on. The one link inside the box opens your full PilotBound page in a new tab.

Where the numbers come from

Your site holds no rate. The snippet points at your PilotBound listing, and the estimator on your page is the estimator on ours, on the same published rates, checked the same day. When the listing changes, your site shows the change on its next visit.

If your rates change, send the new rate sheet to samip.shah@pilotbound.app and the listing, and with it your site, is updated. The estimate itself is PilotBound's, on a model the methodology page sets out, and it is the same model for every school.

Not listed with rates yet

The estimator needs a published aircraft rate and instructor rate. If your school is not in the list above, send your current rate sheet to samip.shah@pilotbound.app. A rate card earns a rated listing, and the snippet with it.
