Vaughn's own published total for the five packages its contract partner, Heritage Flight Academy, sells to Vaughn students: Private $16,960 + Instrument $11,923 + Commercial $33,523 + CFI Airplane $7,598 + CFI Instrument $7,423. That is every rating the degree requires; the multi-engine rating is an elective with no published price. Each package buys a stated block of hours plus bonus hours at no charge (the Private buys 50 flight hours and adds 15 more), so the blocks sit well above FAA minimums, but Vaughn's catalog still calls the packaged hours the MINIMUM to complete each flight lab, bills hours beyond them at Heritage's full rates, and refunds unused hours. Examiner fees are extra. Vaughn's own simulator lab fees, $500 each for FLT 101L, 102L and 120L and $1,000 for FLT 330L in the 2025-26 catalog, are billed by the college on top and are not in this figure.
